It is a living pulse, a breath shared between artist and audience. It holds the power to uncover the hidden corners of the human spirit, to break us open, and to bind us together in our vulnerability and truth.

What we create is not fixed, but alive. Shaped by authenticity, charged with emotional truth, and born in the electricity of the present moment.

  • Artistic Director

    Jim Coupland is the Artistic Director of Authentik Theatre. He is an actor, director and writer who has worked on major and fringe theatre productions. Most notably, The Gunpowder Plot (which featured Tom Felton) and collaborated with Olivier Award winning director, Lyndsey Turner, on Coriolanus with the National Theatre.

    He is in search of the authentic performance. Inspired by Konstantin Stanislavski and Nikolai Demidov, Jim is impassioned to bring truth to performance.
