At Authentik Theatre, we believe in the transformative power of theatre to illuminate the depths of the human experience. Our philosophy is grounded in the belief that theatre is a living, breathing art form capable of connecting us to our truest selves and to each other. Our approach to performance is rooted in authenticity, emotional truth, and the power of the present moment.

  • Artistic Director

    Jim Coupland is the Artistic Director of Authentik Theatre. He is an actor, director and writer who has worked on major and fringe theatre productions. Most notably, The Gunpowder Plot (which featured Tom Felton) and collaborated with Olivier Award winning director, Lyndsey Turner, on Coriolanus with the National Theatre.

    He is in search of the authentic performance. Inspired by Konstantin Stanislavski and Nikolai Demidov, Jim is impassioned to bring truth to performance.
